Return planning
Employment consultations shaped around the day you walk back in
Leave ends on a calendar date. Capacity rarely does. This page outlines how Mindstorage Core approaches return-to-work planning after leave inside German workplaces.
What we plan together
We start with constraints you already have: childcare pickups, medical appointments, commute length, Betriebsrat timelines, or a reorganized team. From there we design the first thirty to ninety days — not a lifetime career map.
Consultations stay practical: hour grids, conversation openers, and decision logs you can reuse when priorities shift.
Three planning layers
-
Personal capacity
Sleep, caregiving, and recovery rhythms that decide whether a full-time restart is wise.
-
Role design
Which tasks return with you immediately, which wait, and which need a temporary owner.
-
Workplace dialogue
How to speak with managers and HR so agreements are written down without sounding adversarial.
When to begin
Most clients start eight to twelve weeks before the first day back. Earlier is useful if you expect Teilzeit negotiations; later still helps if you only need a manager briefing and a week-one calendar.
